My fairytale wedding 3-31-16
On March 31 2016 I got to have my very own fairy tale NJ wedding. As a wedding planner this was the most fun task of them all! I began my very difficult wedding venue search and chose the beautiful Il Villaggio Caterers in Carlstadt NJ. This gorgeous wedding venue featured the high ceilings and chandelier look I envisioned for my wedding . Patrick was a amazing person to work with, right to the point with the menu and all the details of the day. I'm all about the details! He was very helpful in being sure every detail of my wedding was absolutely perfect. We then picked our ceremony located , my husband Joes Church Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge NJ. This held a special place in my now husbands family and it is gorgeous Church with a extremely long aisle. Also, since we chose the week after Easter Sunday the church was covered with fuschia & white lily's ( my wedding colors ) Perfection.
Now to the vendor search, as a wedding planner this was an easy decision for me. Entertainment was chosen before the engagement even occurred. Time machine entertainment in Pompton Lakes NJ is hard to beat. Joe and his team of singers and musicians are just so amazing at what they do! They really rocked our reception like no other! Guests are still going on about this band!
For photography and video we used Marquee Photo & Video . Dan and his team were wonderful from our engagement photos right to the end of our reception ! Dan and Steve had us comfortable all day ! Capturing seriously beautiful images ! Our wedding video was beautiful by Aj and Tim! We also had a Same Day edit which everyone of our family adores and watches over and over again ! He also surprised me with a photo booth which was really a fun time for us and our guests!
After these 2 vendors were booked it was wedding dress time ! The most difficult of my personal wedding journey. As a nj wedding planner my dress experience isn't much, I came across Hollywood Bridal in Kenilworth NJ after going through a few dress stores and not liking anything. Maria. Cynthia and the team here were so great ! I ended up with a beautiful satin Kenneth Winston dress with a long train , gorgeous details , sweet heart neckline & strapless. Their personalization and caring nature made me feel great ! I also had my bridesmaids purchase their bill levkoff chiffon dresses here as well! My shoes were purchased from Nordstrom Bagdley Mischka ivory, satin peep toes. Jewelery was Purchased from Swarovski Crystal ; bracelet , earrings and necklace.
Now to some other details; I really wanted the whole monogram and dancing on the clouds aspect. I also wanted a Montage of us both growing up on display . Jim from JB lighting productions made this happen for me ! A big beautiful monogram that looked so great in the ballroom ! I wanted a small hint of purple in my fuschia , white and silver color scheme. My florist from Fairy tale creations by Addalia in Clark NJ made the most beautiful centerpieces ! The bouquets were to die for and our sweetheart table display was amazing! Skip is so creative and really loves what he does ! He made all my flower visions, reality !
Our save the dates, favors and invites really stood out ! Patti from Ultimate Wedding Showplace Pompton Lakes NJ really outdid herself! She helped me to choose my perfect happily ever after invitation, just like Cinderella ! Last, but not least my limousines! My father owns Action Limousine in Garwood NJ. I had the one and only Austin Princess rolls royce and the Suv limo for my bridal party. My whole theme for the wedding was Happily ever after and the rolls royce just tied that all together!
Joe & I had the perfect wedding day! I'm so happy to finally write this up and share all these images with you ! Hope my NJ wedding can inspire you and your upcoming weddings !
